    Seminal event . . . ?

    I have a simple answer.

I was so in love with the most wonderful woman. The fun and laughter we shared . . . .

Eventually, as we both knew would happen, Pam contracted the family hereditary disease, Huntingtons.

My time as her hospice-care-giver was the most emotionally-draining, difficult, yet somehow, rewarding period of my life.

Rewarding? Yes, because when someone is spiraling, comfort and love are gifts they remember for the rest of their lives.

Dawn, I doubt you remember me, but we once met near Orlando. And, my amazing wife was your Aunt Pamela.

    • Of course I remember you Burr. No doubt Huntington’s Disease has impacted my family in enormous ways, but when I think about the world I live in… it is the larger events that effected so many, that I refer to. So sorry for you loss, our loss.
